WWF presented this data during the football match Brazil vs. Denmark, that was broadcasted on Bandsports Channel, by changing the green field to brown within 4 minutes. What a brilliant idea. And it paid off. After the 4 minutes a message was shown on TV: “Every 4 minutes, Brazilian forest suffers deforestation the size of a football field. Go to the website and see how you can help. WWF.ORG.BR“. There was a 73% increase of traffic to the website after the match.
